Support Agreement Outline & Services Included:
Over the years Rosh-Tech has seen the obvious need to orchestrate ongoing system maintenance for our clients. These services often help in avoiding lengthy downtime and user frustration. These features can also add peace of mind to your operation in that you know are constantly kept up to date with how things are running and can be alerted early of some potential problems.The following are some services that Rosh-Tech have found to be of value and are therefore included as options within our maintenance agreements.
Site Assessment and Documentation:
Upon initially signing the Support agreement, Rosh-Tech will complete a thorough audit of your hardware, software and data handling procedures. From this information we can generate a report that will allow us to make recommendations as to ways to improve your current IT infrastructure. The outcome of the site audit will include site diagram and documentation made available to the client and stored at the clients premises.
Back-up Integrity Testing:
Rosh-Tech can, while on-site, test the integrity of your back-up systems to ensure that your back-ups are running correctly and that your current back-up solution is adequate for your needs. It is an all too often scenario when a client finds out there back-ups have not been running correctly or their storage medium does not facilitate for all the data they are storing.
Off Site Data Storage:
Here at Rosh-Tech we can offer the facility of off-site data storage. Stored in a secure fire proofed dehumidified environment the integrity of the data is ensured at all times. This facility offers the ultimate peace of mind for your data storage needs.

UPS Efficiency:
Uninterrupted Power Supply’s are one of the most critical devices for protecting your servers and mission critical hardware. Rosh-Tech technicians can run routine tests on these devices and ensure that they are running correctly. We have experienced situations when power has gone down and the UPS’s have failed to operate as routine checks were not carried out to find the UPS faulty.
Disaster Recovery Plan:
Rosh-Tech can set in place plans and procedures to be implemented in the event of a major problem. (i.e. Server crash, Virus infection, Router/Switch/Hub failure) These procedures aid you in a step-by-step system enabling you to calmly regain control of the situation at hand.
Web Development:
Due to the ever-increasing need for web integration and e-commerce solutions, Rosh-Tech has forged strategic alliances so as to be able to offer these facilitations to our clients. System Stress Testing:
Rosh-Tech technicians can also perform stress testing on your servers and workstations so you up to date with the entire integrity of your network. Actions performed in the stress testing include; Microscope to ensure hardware integrity on any given computer; Scandisk and Defrag to ensure the reliability of the files and file system on the computer, and cleanout of the computer including manually cleaning and clearing out dust and dirt from CD-ROM drives, Floppy drives, Tape drives and system cases.
Software auditing:
To ensure compliance with Australian Anti-Piracy laws, Rosh-Tech can perform a complete audit of all of your software. This report will then be submitted to you so you are covered in the advent of a BSSA audit.
Printers, Photocopiers:
While on-site we can also ensure that all your laser printers, inkjet printers and photocopiers have sufficient toner and that drums are not in need of replacement. This will help give you prior warning so you don’t have printing down time due to lack of printer toner.
Efficiency Processes Audit:
Our Consultants are very experienced in analysing the process of data handling. Our consultants can have an in-depth look at how your company handles your data and can advise of changes that will aid in making your workforce more productive.
We can also provide consultation on the network as a whole. This involves network engineers assisting you in IT decision making. Our focus is the bigger picture not placing product. Data Cabling and Phone Systems:
Through our partnerships with local suppliers we have the ability to offer to data cabling services and phone system installs. This includes PABX, PSTN, CAT 5 Cabling and we can also offer integration with the computer systems.
Remote Access:
If required Rosh-Tech can organise to have dial-in access to your systems so as to remotely diagnose and rectify problems. This is obviously a more cost effective solution and allows a more expedient result. Obviously not all problems can be resolved in this manner and a technician may have to come on-site to complete the repair.
After Hours Support:
Rosh-Tech can offer outside of hours call-outs. These are charged in accordance with the Industrial Relations Awards Scheme. Travel time is also charged for all of outside of hours call-outs. There is a minimum of two hours deducted from the support agreement to accommodate the call-out fee.
Phone Support:
Phone support is offered to assist clients to work through problems over the phone. This support is at the standard hourly rate negotiated in this agreement and is charged in 15-minute intervals.
